Earlier this month ICSA welcomed as new members, a group of students from the Dreilinden Gymnasium of Berlin – Germany.  The Vice- Principal of the Gymnasium, Prof Hans Steiker accompanied the group during their visit of Sicily.

On this occasion ICSA offered its new members a day of sightseeing of the Alkantara River and Gorge, one of the most important and geologically interesting rivers of Sicily. The experience was very much enjoyed by all.

The group is interested to return to Sicily and take part in ICSA’s Cultural Exchange Program made possible through the involvement of Sicilian families who will host students interested in the study of the Italian language. The Cultural Exchange Program aims also to deepen the cultural understanding of Sicily and cultivate friendships between young Sicilians and their international counterparts.
